WAAC Members

The Women’s Art Association of Canada (WAAC) was established at the end of the 19th century to assist and promote women and their artistic work. Over the last 100 years, technology has evolved, photography has transformed and women artists have become recognized as a significant part of the cultural landscape. Today, WAAC Member Artists actively continue this 123-year-old tradition as they capture the profound social consequences of a changing global village using photography and mixed media.
