African Image Revolution

Adisa S. Oji

Oji, affectionately called Brother Oji, is a “modern nomad” and a self-proclaimed photo-historian who roams between Canada, Jamaica, Ghana, and West Africa taking photographs. These images depict daily life in Africa and exude joy, laughter, sadness, hope, and triumph of the spirit. His simple yet profound images are testimony of the beauty to be found in the faces of people as they struggle to overcome adversity.
