The identity of Toronto can be characterized by the myriad of cultures residing within its limits. Diversity and multiculturalism provide a mosaic of visual cues that defines our city. But if there was a way to represent the city as a singular arrangement, without this variety, what would it look like? Amalgam examines the identity of Toronto as a reflection of a combined consciousness, creating an expression of self.
