The Journey is the Destination showcases an honest and dynamic look at war-torn Somalia in the early 1990s through the lens of photographer Eldon. He was 22 years old when he was killed with three other photojournalists while on assignment in Mogadishu, Somalia, in 1993. This exhibition follows the September 2016 TIFF premiere of the narrative feature film of the same name about Eldon’s life. The film also screens May 7, 2pm at Famous People Players (343 Evans Ave.)
