Flora McSpring - A Photographic Celebration of Entrancing Flowers and Venerable Trees by Toronto photographer Greg Stott. The playful title springs from the pure giddy joy engendered by the sight of flowers of all kinds, from those found wild on forest floors to fresh-cut flowers to carefully-tended orchids. Greg's images of flowers and trees are from all seasons - indoors and out - and they seek to celebrate the joy of magnificent flora in various settings, in the company of portraits of potent trees on misty mornings in mystical places. Some of Greg's photography is literal while an equal portion is interpretive and painterly. If there is truth in beauty, Greg's work makes an elegant case for it.
