Emerging and experienced photographers are encouraged to register their Open Call Exhibition in the 28th edition of CONTACT, taking place May 1–31, 2024. The registration period will be October 2023–January 2024.

Committed to cultivating an inclusive and accessible approach to the medium, CONTACT builds community by providing a platform for dynamic collaborations and productive engagement between Canadian and international photographers, curators, partner organizations, and audiences, locally and globally.

The Festival’s Open Call Exhibitions embody a broad range of lens-based practices, and bring together the photographic community with innovative presentations at galleries and alternative spaces across the Greater Toronto Area.

Before registering, all artists/organizers must secure a venue in which to hold the exhibition. Artists and organizers are responsible for all aspects of the exhibition’s production and presentation.

Registration is free of charge. Please note that this program is non-juried and CONTACT does not review submissions – if you register your fully organized exhibition by the deadline, you will be part of the Festival.
